King Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Celebrates 25 Years on the Throne

The King of Tooro, Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Rukidi IV, today marks 25 years since he was enthroned.

He ascended onto the throne at 3 years. Minister for Tourism of Tooro Joan Kantu Else said everyone was fearful when he became King because of his age but she is proud of what he has become, a formidable leader in his right, an inspiration to the youths and above all, very good looking.

The Kingdom has endured challenges of land grabbing that rocked the palace itself with the Queen Mother Best Kemigisa at the center.

There were claims that the young King is illegitimate and not fit to rule but he remains the King of Tooro and the youngest monarch in the world.

King Oyo is very passionate about the environment. He has taken part in cleaning the streets in Fort Portal and planting trees.

His Kingdom is situated in the Tourism City of Uganda and remains the best tourism destination for all the tourists that throng Uganda.
