“We are going to work through people. It will be different. Uganda Law Society shouldn’t be coloured by political leanings. It should be a professional body. Everybody that needs a voice when it comes to justice should get it,” said Pheona Wall.
She added, “I want to be a listening president. I want to be FAT (Faith, Available, and Teachable) in my tenure. The Uganda Law Society should be able to learn and embrace technology.”
Pheona Nabasa Wall replaced Simon Peter Kinobe who had served for the last two years. Pheona Wall has been serving as the Vice President of Uganda Law Society. She has since June 2014 to date been serving as the Senior Legal Services Manager at the National Water and Sewerage Corporation-NWSC also doubling as the Chairperson of the Legal Aid and Pro Bono Project of the Uganda Law Society.
