Selective Implementation of #COVID19 Guidelines in the Political Season
The JEEMA Chairman Auman Basalirwa said it is critical that the #COVID18 SOPs are followed however there is no way the law enforcers will do that if they keep applying them selectively.
Basalirwa said the opposition will definitely defy the guidelines as long as they don’t see them applicable in the NRM ruling party.
Emmanuel Dombo – Head Communication, NRM Secretariat agreed with Basalirwa that the guidelines must not be for a selected few. He saif the NRM will follow the guidelines even if other political parties don’t.
It should be remembered that there was massive violation of #COVID19 guidelines in the recently concluded NRM Primaries.
