Government Fully Restores Social Media and Internet

The State Minister for ICT and Guidance, Peter Ogwang Ogwang has said Social Media and Internet are now fully restored and urged the citizens of Uganda to be responsible internet and social Meduia users.

Social Media has been off since the 14th January elections however many citizens used VPN when the internet was switched back.

Ogwang Ogwang apologised for the inconveniences the shutdown cause and said it was necessary for national security.
