NUP’s Task in the 11th Parliament

Members of the 11th Parliament will be swearing-in to take charge of the House for the next 5 years starting on the 17th May. Like it has been for many years, the opposition remains a minority in Parliament in terms of numerical strength.

Breaking with tradition, however, a new entrant in the house, the National Unity Platform will be in charge of mobilizing this opposition to challenge government proposals on policy.
