Cabinet Approves Digitisation of All Vehicles, Motorcycles in Uganda

Cabinet has approved a proposal to digitalize all vehicles, motorcycles, and vessels to help security in monitoring the movements of the users in a bid to wipe out the ever-increasing criminality in the country.

Speaking to the journalists at the Uganda Media Centre, the Minister for Security, Maj. Gen. Jim Muhwezi also disclosed that the government has already identified a technology company that will provide these devices but individuals will meet the costs.
