Has The Money For The Elderly Benefited the Elderly in Uganda? Who Benefits?

The government will not progressively lower the age bracket for the elderly considered for the senior citizens’ grant of UGX 25,000 per month which currently stands at 80 years and above.

This as all eyes turn to the 5 MPs representing the elderly in parliament on what their actual role will be and what more they can do to improve the social security of older persons in the country.
