The Army Construction Brigade to Take Over Government Constructions, How Competent Will They Be?
This week, President Yoweri Museveni directed the health and education ministries to make use of the Army Construction Brigade in the undertaking of government construction projects. This has however been received with mixed reactions, with the civil society saying the move will not save Uganda from corruption and delay in completion of undertaken projects. But the UPDF Spokesperson Brigadier Flavia Byekwaso says the army has capacity to undertake major projects and deliver on time.
