UGX 21.638 Trillion Shortfall in Tax Collected Due to COVID19

The Uganda Revenue Authority has registered a shortfall amounting to UGX 2.375 trillion for the financial year ending June 2021. According to the Authority, the closure of business and scale down of employees by companies are the major factors for the shortfall.
