Cheptegei, Chelimo, Kiplimo qualify for 5000m finals at Olympics

 Oscar Chelimo, Jacob Kiplimo and Joshua Cheptegei have qualified for the 5000m final scheduled for Friday.

Joshua Cheptegei and Jacob Kiplimo came fourth and fifth respectively in heat two after clocking 13:30.40 and 13:30.61 in the race won by Spain’s Muhammad Katir on Tuesday afternoon.

Today, Oscar Chelimo also qualified for the 5000m finals after coming fourth in the race won by Kenya’s Nicholas Kipkorir Kimeli.
