East Africa Urged to Utilise Trade Agreements to Promote Trade

The East African Community Secretary-General Peter Mathuki has tasked the East African Business Council to increase the trade within the East African Community by using the existing bilateral agreements among member states.

This call has come when the intra-trade within the East African Community stands at 15%.
