Winnie Nanyondo made the cut for the semifinal(s) of the Women’s 1,500m at the Tokyo Olympics. She finished 2nd in Round 1 – Heat 3, posting a time of 4 minutes 02.24 seconds. Kenya’s Faith Kipyegon’s came first at 4:01.40 in round 1 heat 3.
