Army Embarks on Deserters in Karamoja

Fear is spreading across the Karamoja region after 20 LDUs deserted the force, taking with them guns. In an anonymous letter posted on social media, one deserter claimed they left the force because the government failed to protect their people and cattle.

The UPDF has cautioned the community to stay alert and report the suspects to any nearest detach.
