Opposition MPs Storm Out of Plenary over Ssewanya, Ssegirinya Re-arrest

In a plenary sitting this afternoon, Parliament demanded the Attorney General Kiryowa Kiwanuka to explain the re-arrest of the legislators, Muhammad Ssegirinya and Allan Ssewanyana and he told Parliament that the two legislators will soon be arraigned in courts of law and went on to say the two will be re-arrested as many times as the offences they commit.

The Leader of Opposition in Parliament Mathias Mpuuga together with other opposition MPs stormed out in protest saying the statement was vulgar

The two legislators were arrested in connections to Masaka murders but now the security agencies the UPDF and the police say they have been arrested on fresh charges.
