It is Madness to Pay Science Teachers More Than Arts Teachers – MP Mwijukye
Bujweju County MP Francis Mwijukye has said it would be madness for teachers who teach biology, and those who teach history to be given different salaries.
“We enter the same class and teach the same students. At the end of the month, you get your four million, and I get 700,000. This is madness!” said Mwijukye.
This was in response to President Museveni’s Teacher’s Day message where he said science teachers will earn more because they are what we need because it is a science led economy.
