Schools Will Open When COVID-19 is Under Control  

The Minister of Education and Sports, and First Lady Janet Museveni has responded to increasing calls to reopen schools saying it is better to delay learning until the COVID-19 situation is under control.

The First Lady also responded on the increasing number of teenage pregnancies saying, “How can we make schools a safe heaven for girls who have parents?” She called on parents to do their parenting jobs.
