DJ Zato’s “Lunchtime Request” energy will make you watch her daily

NBS Television, on Monday 29^th November 2021, launched DJ Zato as the first-ever host of the over ten years and running request show, “Lunchtime Request.”

Having made her name as co-host of Uganda’s biggest entertainment show, “Uncut,” “DJ Zato” is Zahara Totto’s persona for her quickly growing DJ brand, having first launched it at the height of the first COVID-19 lockdown in Uganda. She has since also applied her skills on Next Radio’s Friday edition of “The Brunch.”

“Oh, yes! It is all real. Just me, my decks, my viewers’ requests, and a whole lot of energy,” an excited DJ Zato said after her first show.

DJ Zato then added, “First days are first days, a bit of challenges here and there, but we made it big – there are so many other ideas we are going to incorporate into this baby. I only do these things to win, and win we shall.”

Our Head of Brand and Communications, Desire Derekford Mugumisa, was another of the excited people at the Next Media Park, stating, “Some of these ideas, however great they sound when first shared, can not be fully imagined until you watch them birthed – this is one of the best debuts I have watched on our screens in a while, and I trust we have yet another game-changer on our hands here.”

Lunchtime request, now going by the hashtag #NBSLunchRequest, airs every weekday at 2 PM on NBS Television and is available to stream via the Afro Mobile app.
