When I was still studying, I went to the Ssekanyorya newspaper to get a job, the news editor refused me because I was still studying, he told me that he didn’t have money to pay me. I remember telling him that I was willing to work for free

I still remember how I got my first story to appear in a newspaper. One day I was walking then I saw a fire brigade car, I ran after it barefooted up to where it was going.

Drake stated on the Late Nite show that he had no regrets in his life. “I am happy and proud for making a name and to be able to teach people through writing.”

“There’s only one thing I would like to tell young journalists, they should take everything easy and do the right thing always.”-Drake Sekeba.
