Janet Museveni-MPs Meeting at Kololo Postponed

Plenary discussed whether to go or not to go for the meeting that First Lady and Minister of Education and Sports, Janet Kataha Museveni asked them to attend on Wednesday. The opposition MPs argued this is not procedurally right and demanded that the Minister should be the one to come to Parliament. Speaker of Parliament Jacob Oulanyah advised that the MPs should attend.

Later on Tuesday, the Ministry of Education and Sports issued a statement that the meeting was postpned to a later date yet to be announced. The statement read,

The Meeting between Ministry of Education & Sports and Members of Parliament that was scheduled for Wednesday 24th November, 2021 has been postponed. Note; A new date shall be communicated.
