Supplementary Budget for Security Situation?

Minister of ICT and Information Dr. Chris Baryomunsi has said that the current security situation calls for a supplementary budget but the government is not rushing into bringing a supplementary budget.

“The situations are being managed within the available budgets for now,” Baryomunsi said in a presser.

Baryomunsi went on to address the the current spate of gunning down suspects, “Shooting the suspects becomes inevitable if they are going to cause danger to the public,” said Baryomunsi.

Sheikh Abas Muhammed, attached to Masjid Alfurqan, Masajja has been shot. The reason for his shooting, however, is still unknown. Police and other security agencies are currently searching his residence has been the latest suspect shot and Uganda Police hasn’t yet responded to his shooting.
