Uganda Airlines to Add Nsenene on the Menu

In a Uganda Airlines flight UR 446 headed for Dubai on Friday, an identified man was seen vending grass hoppers commonly known as Nsenene, a delicacy in Uganda. This sparked outrage. The airlines management responded saying the staff on duty will be questioned and also added that the airline is considering adding the delicacy on the menu.

This addition of the Nsenene delicacy on our menu will bring the Ugandan culture to the world because our key products are people and the experience. This move will boost tourism marketing and the livelihood of the people in the grasshopper value chain going forward.”
