Doctors Arrested for Marching to Parliament
Uganda Police intercepted doctors at Ministry of Gender, Labour, and Social Development along George Street in Kampala as they headed for Parliament to deliver a petition in protest of low pay, poor working conditions and eviction of medical interns who are on strike. Thirty three of them are in police custody at CPS.
