Intern Doctors Skeptical About Going to Work

Dr. Lilian Nabwire, the head of medical interns in Uganda has said they had a meeting with the Ministry of Health, and they assured them that they had the money and it would be in the different hospital accounts by the end of this week, however, the intern doctors are skeptical. They are still not sure about heading back to work since they have been lied to so many times.

We have a meeting today with the interns, and the chances are high that starting tomorrow, the interns will resume work. We hope that the government on the other end will fulfill their promise,” Dr. Lilian Nabwire.
