UPDF Explains Operation Shuja to Congolese Nationals
The UPDF launched Operation Shuja earlier this week in which air force and artillery attacks targeted ADF camps in the Eastern part of DRC. The armies from both countries have engaged in medical outreach programs and constructed water points for civilian population in Mukakati, Kitibombo and Kamango.
The UPDF have also talked to the locals clearly telling them why they are in their country.
Our core objective of coming to Congo is to help our brothers FARDC flush out ADF terrorists from their safe haven so that both countries can have peace,” Col James Kasule, The Task Force Commander for Operation Shuja.
