Forceful Return to School in Karamoja

Leaders in the Karamoja sub-region are set to embark on mandatory education for all children in the region once schools resume.

The leaders say that the children are being used to commit crimes, and now parents will be punished for keeping children at home.

The Minister for Karamoja Agnes Nandutu has asserted that they want Karamoja to change once and for all.
