Nabbanja Suspends Forced Vaccination
Prime Minister Robinah Nabbanja has suspended all forced vaccinations at roadblocks in the country with immediate effect.
Nabbanja says that while it will help in vaccine absorption and extending services to people, district health teams must devise other mechanisms to increase vaccination uptake.
Nabbanja was shocked to find a group of medics vaccination passengers in Kakumiro, Kassanda. All passengers who had no vaccination cards were automatically vaccinated. She was appalled to learn they were not subjected to the procedure of consent signing, also after vaccination, one is expected to sit and rest for thirty minutes which was not happening.
