PFT Dispatches Regional Teams

In a bid to actualise their 10-point action plan for change as emphasised last year, the People’s Front for Transition (PFT) has equipped and dispatched regional teams to 19 areas countrywide at a function held at the JEEMA headquarters in Mengo.

The teams dispatched to West Nile, Karamoja, Busoga, Teso, Mukono, Kampala among others, have been tasked with building PFT structures, mobilisation for change in key sectors including; health, education and human rights abuse.

In his maiden address this year, Col Kizza Besigye hinged his statement on Unity and has resolved to not only write to the National Unity Platform and the Alliance for National Transformation but to also form a nonpartisan joint action committee involving all stake holders like civil society, traders and other minority groups if their goal is to be achieved.

The legislators present said there is no better time to advance this move in unison, since Uganda has little to celebrate on this NRM liberation day and to re affirm their demand for change.
