Rwenzori region SACCOs are set to receive extra seed capital worth UGX 20 million

SACCOs in the Rwenzori region are set to receive extra seed capital worth UGX 20 million to address issues around insufficient funds.

The Deputy Executive Director at the Microfinance Support Center, Petronilla Hellen Masika, says this will be followed by a loan advancement, which will come at an interest rate of not more than 0.6% per month, depending on performance.

Masika was in Kabarole district meeting stakeholders in the implementation of the EMYOOGA program.
