Buganda Caucus Seeks Meeting with Deputy Speaker Over Zaake

The chairperson of the Buganda Caucus Muwanga Kivumbi in an interview with NBS television revealed that the caucus had directed him to write to the deputy speaker over Mityana Municipality MP Francis Zaake’s predicament.

A decision was taken to meet the Deputy Speaker and try to engender a settlement,” Hon Muwanga Kivumbi.

This comes at a time when the committee on rules, privileges and discipline is probing allegations of offensive communication against the Deputy Speaker committed by Zaake – with the Committee yet to report back their findings to the August House.
