The Chief Justice Alphonse Owiny Dollo has cautioned the judges and magistrates handling the plea-bargain files to exercise fairness adding that the program shouldn’t just be periodic but rather continuous. The Chief Justice made the remarks while officiating at this year’s plea bargain camp at Mbarara main prisons that will last for five days.

You have an opportunity to avoid the twenty five years, 45 years and live imprisonment when you come out and say you did it. You may even look for the victim’s relatives and you say you are sorry

If there are people who want to bargain, they should be given,” Owiny Dollo.
