The Report on Vinci Coffee Deal Tabled

Parliamentary Committee on Trade, Industry and Tourism presented the report on the Coffee Agreement between the Ugandan Government and Uganda Vinci Coffee Company Ltd.

The debate on the report happened this afternoon, 18th May 2022 and the Committee directed Government to terminate the agreement as it’s unconstitutional, ambiguous, illegal and also violates the rights of Ugandans.

The report recommended that all those that signed on behalf of Uganda should be penalized.
