Besigye to Protest over National Budget

Opposition leader Dr. Kizza Besigye has said that he is going to protest against the National Budget, which he says is too exorbitant for the current economic times.

Besigye has urged Ugandans to wake up and peacefully stand against rising commodity prices.

We have solutions. What everybody must demand is that the size and cost of gov’t must come down. You find a Highly indebted poor country like Uganda with 82 Ministers. Each Minister has police escorts & yet Police has no vehicles. We must make demands immediately”,  Kizza Besigye
