Speaker Anita Among to Buy Karamoja Iron Sheets and Return to OPM

In a plenary sitting today, the Speaker of Parliament, Anita Among acknowledged the fact that her own district of Bukedia received iron sheets that were meant for Karamoja.

Defending the receivers of the iron sheets, Speaker Among said they did not steal but rather, they were given because none of them solicited for them.

Anita has said she did not know the iron sheets belonged to another district; therefore, she asked them to distribute them in schools. She now will buy 500 iron sheets that she will take back to Office of the Prime Minister.
