Shamim Nabakooza a News Anchor and Reporter on NBS Television. She works at Next Media Uganda, a holding company of NBS Television , Nilepost Next Radio and Sanyuka TV a company she has worked with for a year now.

She took on roles in 2021 as a News Anchor starting with NBS Your story and currently hosting current affairs and reporting live for talkshows and politics.

As a student ,Shamim studied Mass communication and journalism at Nkumba University graduating with a Second class upper in 2019.

Shamim is a media challenge fellow for the first class of 2018 Fellow, Award winner of the best gender report in the inter-university media challenge expo 2017.
