Country Mourns Archbishop Nkoyoyo
President Museveni in a tweet described the retired Archbishop Mpalanyi Nkoyoyo as a principled shepherd of the flock. He said he was a religious leader whose actions matched his words. He was also passionate on improving the welfare of his flock and led by example read part of the tweet. Meanwhile Members of Parliament are saddened by the death of Rtd. Archbishop Livingstone Mpalanyi Nkoyoyo asking government to organize a state funeral in his honor. The Legislators described the deceased as one of the few prominent religious leaders who has been key in uniting Ugandans and demonstrating a sense of religious development and tourism in the Country.
