Dr Atwiine Defends Deployment of Cuban Doctors

The ministry of health has defended the controversial deployment of Cuban Medics – arguing Ugandan doctors often shun appointments especially upcountry only to complain when the offers are passed on. The ministry of health insists the Cuban expatriates will greatly solve labor deficiencies experienced in government health facilities.
