President Museveni to Chair Peace Talk in Ssembabule

Elections in two constituencies in Sembabule, Mawogola West and North were suspended due to violence. President Yoweri Museveni is set to meet district leaders and aspiring candidates of constituencies in Ssembabule as a mediator between political camps that have failed to vote in the NRM Primaries due to anticipated violence.

The president is in a hard place as he has to settle a dispute between Shartsi Kuteesa and Sodo Kaguta who all have family relations with him. Ssembabule has always been a bedrock electoral violence.

We await to see how President Museveni will handle the situation and who will carry the NRM flag finally.
