Congo Brazzaville’s Presidential Candidate, Guy Brice Parfait Kolelas has died of COVID 19

Guy Brice Parfait Kolelas, a main contender in Congo-Brazzaville’s presidential race died after becoming seriously ill with Covid-19 on Sunday.

 Mr Kolelas died in Paris on board a medical plane just after landing.

The 61-year-old tested positive for coronavirus on Friday, the last day of election campaigns.
