KCCA and UHRC New Ordinance Against Gender Based Violence

The Uganda Human Rights Commission (UHRC), in conjunction with Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA), has finalized drafting a new ordinance that will protect women and girls from gender-based violence across the country.

The new ordinance aims to strengthen the capacity of duty-bearers to respect, protect, fulfill human rights and rights holders to know and demand for their rights.
