President Museveni Brags About Shutting Face Book
President Museveni brags about shutting down Facebook in Uganda saying the ban has not stopped ‘cows from being milked, bananas from being produced or fish from existing in the waters.’ The president uttered this at Kololo Independence Grounds in a scientific ceremony where he welcomed back athletes who did the country proud by winning gold medals at the Tokyo Olympics.
In the same ceremony, the Olympic champions, Cheptegei, Chemutai and Kiplimo were gifted with cars. The president also asserted that they should be paid UGX 5 million shillings monthly, not quarterly.
