Avoid moving with lots of cash during the festive season – Fred Enanga
Uganda Police has advised the public not to move with cash during the festive season to avoid making themselves a target for criminals.
During the routine security updates, Police Police Spokesperson Fred Enanga advises business people to opt for cashless transactions.
The available Mobile money and Internet banking are safer options.
“We are calling upon members of the public to stay alert while traveling, or shopping, in a gathering, partying or celebrating during this festive season
We want to assure the public that, despite the challenging environment and increased attacks against police officers in police posts, we remain committed to protecting all Ugandans and visitors in the country, and ensuring their safety.”
An update on the current number of traffic offenders was shared by Uganda Police
