Stigma and discrimination still faced by people living with disabilities.

Stigma and discrimination, difficulties with access to key facilities, and poor aiding tools have been highlighted as challenges faced by people living with disabilities.

This was during the “We Can Do It” photo exhibition, which sought to inspire people living with disabilities to rise to their dreams and shine a light on the challenges that the group still faces.

The photo exhibition was organized by Isaac Henry Muwanguzi, a photographer with Next Media Services who highlights his sister’s plight, who got hearing impairments after she suffered cerebral malaria.
