IGG Kamya Gets Heart Attack, Skips COSASE

Former Lands Minister and now IGG Beti Olive Namisango Kamya skipped an invitation by the Committee of Commissions Statutory Authority and State Enterprises chaired by NUP Spokesperson Joel Ssenyonyi when she allegedly developed heart-related complications hours before the scheduled meeting.

Kamya is implicated in the UGX 10.6 billion supplementary budget land bonanza, according to the Auditor General’s report of June 2021. She is on the spot for using her position to wrongfully allocate land to investors at Nakawa-Naguru estate

Ssenyonyi informed the committee members of a message that had come through from the daughter of Kamya saying she had rushed her to hospital following a sharp pain in her heart
