PLE 2022 results released

The long awaited PLE results have been released at the Statehouse Nakasero by the Minister of Education and Sports, First Lady Janet Museveni, she thanked all stakeholders for supporting the children through this process and showed concern for pockets of malpractice that she says will be dealt with.

“I wish to congratulate all the candidates who have passed the examination, the teachers who prepared them and the parents/guardians for their support.

The Executive Director of UNEB, Dan Odongo has revealed they registered an increase in the number of candidates as compared to the previous year. Odongo has also said better performance has been registered with more girls completing the Primary Education Cycle than boys.

A total of 832,654 candidates sat for PLE from 14,691 centres compared to the 749,761 candidates in 2020.

The results will be uploaded on the examination centre Portals., each school can therefore download their results as soon as they are officially released according to the Ministry of Education and Sports.
