Busoga Kingdom officially unveils the Inebantu (Queen of Busoga)

Busoga Kingdom has today, 7th September 2023, officially introduced Jovia Mutesi as the Inebantu (Queen of Busoga). She will be presented at the Christ Cathedral in Bugembe for a grand celebration of Holy Matrimony on Saturday, November 18, 2023. This highly anticipated event marks a significant milestone for Busoga and its people.

Dr. Joseph Muvawala, the Busoga Kingdom Premier, shared his excitement and pride in this historic declaration. He stated, “It is a momentous day for the people of Busoga all over the world as I officially announce that we have gotten Her Royal Highness the Inebantu of Busoga following the just concluded traditional ceremonies earlier in the day.”

On behalf of the entire Busoga community and neighboring areas, Dr. Joseph Muvawala extended warm congratulations to Isebantu, Kyabazinga William Gabula Nadiope IV, for making this extraordinary decision. He expressed, “I wish to congratulate the Isebantu upon this great and memorable decision.”

Dr. Joseph Muvawala further emphasized the significance of this announcement, saying, “I am satisfied that Busoga’s missing link has finally been found and can confirm with certainty that more blessings await us.”

In his closing remarks, he appealed to Basoga worldwide to include the Isebantu and Inebantu in their daily prayers. His hope is that through these prayers, God/Allah will bless this new union that Busoga has been eagerly anticipating.
