Karamojong Youth Embrace Amnesty: More Guns Surrendered

Following the extension of the amnesty window by the President, more Karamojong youth have come forward to hand over their guns. According to a weekly report on Karamoja operations, nine guns and 70 livestock have been recovered.

As the joint security forces in Karamoja continue to hold peace meetings, more guns are being recovered, with the youth promising to embrace peace in the now extended amnesty window.
