South Sudan Traders Cry for Protection

Ugandan traders and transporters doing business in South Sudan want the Ugandan government to come up with a lasting solution to insecurity along the major routes.
While speaking to the media on Wednesday in Kampala, regional lorry and transporters association, an umbrella organization for goods vehicles, drivers and owners say there is increased looting, kidnaping and ambushing of Uganda transit cargo trucks and passenger buses by armed people between Nimule and Juba, and other routes.
