Namajja Irene is a multimedia journalist, editor, and producer working with NBS Television, a company of Next Media in Uganda. She is passionate about the news and ways in which good journalism can improve lives and facilitate civic discourse.

Irene is a dynamic reporter capable of getting to the heart of any topic and exploring and illuminating it in a search a way as to make it intelligible for the average consumer of media.

She has vast experience in news reporting, specifically in matters of justice and human rights, business, and oil and gas.

She is currently a Producer of the NBS TV Live At 1 and 4’45 News Updates bulletins that run Monday to Friday.

Irene is widely published on Next Media’s various platforms NBS TV, a leading television station in Uganda, Nile Post a top online publication, and AfroMobile app, a pan-African repository for news and media content.
