The National Association of Broadcasters in Uganda has appealed to the Minister for Information and Communication Technology against a proposed 2% levy on broadcasters, by Uganda Communications Commission. This was during their first meeting with line Minister, Frank Tumwebaze to discuss issues in the broadcast industry to pave way for a better working environment. Other issues raised included failure by the regulators to allow free to air stations run freely.
