Demolition at Centenary Park Commences

Clearing of land for the laying of sewerage pipes at the Centenary Park started this morning – after weeks of haggling between Nalongo Estates and several government agencies over ownership of the prime land.
The supervised demolition has affected prominent leisure joints. National Water and Sewerage Corporation is to lay 800 meter pipes at the site.
